After breakfast, we’ll visit the Khamlia village to experience their music and lifestyle and see the bird populations at the lake of Merzouga, including flamingos. You can also visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in big cities. In the afternoon, we’ll ride camels into the mysterious sand sea of the Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a traditional Berber nomad tent, or under the stars, with dinner served in the tent.
We’ll wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel. We’ll depart for Fes, passing through the small towns of Rissani and Erfoud before continuing through Errachidia and the spectacular Ziz Valley. We’ll visit Azrou, an important center for Berber artisans, the majestic Middle Atlas cedar forests, and Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”. We’ll arrive in Fes to end the tour.

Post Volubilis, venture to Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco’s most sacred Muslim sites. We then set off for Tinghir, passing through Erfoud and Tinejdad. Take a break for lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue towards the Todra Gorges via Tinghir, stopping along the way for photo opportunities and to admire the views.
We arrive at the Todra Gorges to marvel at its magnificent canyons while hiking on foot.
Later, we drive to Boumalne Dades, pausing for a panoramic view of the Dades Valley.

After breakfast at the hotel or Riad, set off for Ouarzazate via Skoura.
Pause for a panoramic view of the Kasbah of Taourirt, followed by another photo stop near the Atlas Film Studios.

Spending the night in Essaouira
You can spend the day exploring the charming and relaxed city of Essaouira. You can visit the bustling medina, stroll along the ramparts, and take a walk on the expansive golden beach that is popular with windsurfers. You can also visit the port to see the daily catch and taste some amazingly fresh grilled seafood. The medina is a great place to find thuya wood carvers and silver crafters working under the old Portuguese ramparts. Essaouira has one of the most walkable and charming medinas in Morocco, and it is recommended year-round, especially in the summer when it offers a nice relief from the heat of Marrakech. You will stay overnight in Essaouira.
After breakfast, you will depart for Safi, a former Portuguese fortress known for its sardines, pottery, and ceramics. You will then continue via the picturesque coastal road to the serene fishing village of Oualidia, where you can enjoy lunch while gazing out over the tranquil natural seawater lagoon. You will continue to El Jadida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Portuguese colony, before making your way to Casablanca for the night.
You will be transfered to Mohammed V International Airport for your departure.
